Tom Diaz has been part of the MedPOINT Management team for 25 years, as the Vice President of Claims Operations.

Mr. Diaz received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on accounting from Cal State University, Los Angeles. Before joining MedPOINT, he gained expertise within the healthcare industry working in finance with health plans and managed health organizations such as Cigna, Foundation Health, and Century Medicorp—where he transitioned from finance to operations.

In 1992 Mr. Diaz joined MedPOINT, leveraging his operational expertise to build the claims department and improve efficiencies and function. Under his experienced leadership, his team effectively manages claims processing, claims inquiries, claims adjudication, mailroom functionality, provider disputes, and more.

In addition to being an integral part of MedPOINT’s corporate team, Mr. Diaz serves as Treasurer on the MedPOINT Management Board of Directors.
